Minimum Qualifications:
With submitted materials, the candidate must demonstrate
Doctoral degree in Biology (or a closely related field) from an accredited institution of higher education conferred by the date of initial appointment
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated competency and excellence in teaching in the classroom
College-level experience teaching Cell Biology or a closely-related class
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Current knowledge in the field of Cell Biology
Current knowledge of best pedagogy practices for creating effective learning environments
Skilled with using Blackboard Ultra

The Department of Biological Sciences includes 34 tenured or tenure-track faculty and 12 non-tenure track members conducting research and teaching in the areas of evolutionary biology, ecology, genetics, genomics, development, cell biology, and microbiology.
