Minimum Qualifications:
At least two years of practice in a mental health care setting
Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications.
Board certification (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology)
Physician licensure in the state of Arkansas
Active DEA license
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a college health setting or with a college population
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Ability to obtain medical history, evaluate, diagnose and treat each patient requesting care
Ability to provide sufficient information to allow each patient to make an informed consent
Ability to recommend diagnostic testing and/or specialty referrals
Proficient knowledge of electronic medical record use/documentation
Ability to provide patient health education in both the acute treatment of disease and preventative care
