Summary of Job Duties:

The Human Resources Coordinator II (HRC II) is a member of the Division of Student Affairs HR team and serves as the primary resource for executing and managing student employment transactions within Workday HCM. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of part-time and student employment actions, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with university policy.

The HRC II serves as a primary point of contact for day-to-day HR needs, responsible for resolving routine to moderately complex inquiries and processing transactions, while partnering with the HR team to support divisional staffing and operational needs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, along with excellent data entry accuracy and organizational skills, ensuring efficiency and consistency across high-volume processes.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university of higher education

Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant human resources, staffing, or related experience

  • Experience with data entry, records management, or high-volume transactional work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education environment

  • Experience using an HCM system (e.g, Workday) or similar HRIS system

  • Experience auditing work for errors, identifying discrepancies, and independently taking corrective action

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's):

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track workflows, and meet deadlines

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify issues, and determine appropriate next steps within established processes

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in high-volume transactions and data entry

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage workload, and complete tasks with minimal supervision while knowing when to escalate concerns

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of stakeholders

$51,021 (Commensurate with education and experience)
