Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education of a High School diploma
At least 2 years of experience in highway construction materials testing or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Center for Training Transportation Professionals certifications in Basic Aggregates, Concrete Field Testing, Hot Mix Asphalt, Soils, and Concrete Strength Testing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of construction and materials testing and associated laboratory equipment
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Attention to detail
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
