Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. (not DBA) in Marketing or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Tenured Associate Professor, Full Professor, or on track to be a tenured Associate Professor.
Demonstrated record of publishing in elite, top-tier marketing journals with an ongoing pipeline.
Demonstrated record of high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant industry work experience.
Research and/or teaching expertise in relationship marketing, retail/sale/services, branding, and /or consumer decision-making. Others areas will be considered.
Theoretically grounded applied research with strong potential for industry collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and publish with doctoral students in top tier journals.

About the Department
The Department of Marketing is the second-largest department in the Walton College and offers a B.S.B.A., an M.S., and a Ph.D. in Marketing. Our faculty are active research scholars who publish in premier journals and have received numerous college-wide awards for excellence in both research and teaching.
The department leads two major strategic initiatives—sales and retail—and hosts a large internal collegiate sales competition as well as a shopper marketing brand challenge supported by partners including Walmart, Tyson Foods, General Mills, Kimberly-Clark, Cintas, Fastenal, PepsiCo, TTI/Hart, Hershey’s, Hallmark, and Del Monte. We also work closely with the Retail Advisory Board on curriculum and program development.
The department is an active member of the Southeast Marketing Symposium (SMS) and has placed its Ph.D. graduates at leading universities throughout the nation.
