Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, education, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
A minimum of four years of work experience in corporate functions (e.g., finance, accounting, marketing, CPG, etc.) or relevant experience in career coaching and/or advising or recruiting for these industries
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with students, alumni, and recruiters
Demonstrated knowledge of job search and process management.
Proficiency with pivot tables in Excel for data analysis
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas) and/or Career Services platforms (e.g., Handshake, VMock, etc.)
One year working with students in a higher education environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Deep knowledge of career fields within business education (specifically within Accounting and Finance; Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods); Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship; Economics and Information Systems; and MBA and Specialty Master’s Programs)
Exceptional resume writing, interviewing and job search skills
Demonstrated project management abilities, interpersonal skills, and excellence in oral and written communication
Must be able to develop effective presentations and speak confidently to large audiences
Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly, to listen actively, to adapt to changing situations, and to coach and motivate others
Highly proficient with web-based resources, spreadsheet and presentation software required (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Must be able to provide in-person support of programming/events during office hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and occasional evenings and weekends, less than 10 evenings or weekends a semester
