Director of Operations(Quarter Time)

Beer & Hymns Inc., a nonprofit organization that unites community through sing-along events, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Director of Operations to lead and grow our fundraising and administrative needs. Our mission is simple, we bring people together to raise our glasses, raise our voices, and raise funds for organizations that change the world. We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about community, music, and philanthropy.

Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for expanding our fundraising initiatives and streamlining key administrative functions. This role will include leading fundraising strategies, managing donor relations, and coordinating essential operational tasks to support the overall mission of Beer & Hymns Inc. This is a quarter-time position (approximately 10 hours per week), offering flexible scheduling and the chance to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Development
Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan that includes donor outreach, corporate sponsorships, and grant opportunities to meet and exceed annual financial goals.
Donor Relations & Stewardship
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with current and potential donors, sponsors, and community partners. Develop and maintain effective donor recognition programs and ensure ongoing engagement.
Administrative Management
Oversee daily administrative functions, including financial tracking, maintaining nonprofit legal requirements, and communication with stakeholders. Ensure efficient coordination between event planning, development activities, and internal operations.
Grant Writing & Sponsorships
Identify grant opportunities and craft compelling proposals to secure funding. Develop sponsorship packages and maintain strong relationships with sponsors for event support.
Event Coordination
Work closely with the event planning team to manage logistics for fundraising events, ensuring smooth execution and optimal financial outcomes. Assist in promoting events to expand participation and donor engagement.
Communication & Outreach
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop fundraising communications, including newsletters, social media content, and promotional materials. Help create outreach campaigns that highlight Beer & Hymns Inc.’s impact and encourage giving.
Budget & Financial Reporting
Track and report on fundraising revenue, providing regular updates to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Ensure accurate records of all donor activity and financial contributions.

Qualifications:

Experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or administrative management.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated success in securing donations, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and stay organized.
Familiarity with donor management systems and fundraising software preferred.
A passion for music, community events, and making a positive impact.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a quarter-time position (8-12 hours per week), with flexible hours.
$12,000.00 annual salary.
