Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Manager to oversee client relationships and account servicing within our growing insurance agency. This position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who excels in client engagement. As Accounts Manager, you will support sales initiatives, lead customer service, and maintain high service standards across our book of business. As the agency grows, this role offers substantial opportunities for advancement and increased compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the agency, ensuring streamlined processes and superior client service.
- Manage and support office staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-touch service.
- Assist in writing, quoting, and servicing insurance policies across Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines.
- Support producers in managing leads, onboarding new clients, and retaining existing accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of policies, client communications, and agency metrics using management systems.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to process applications, endorsements, and claims efficiently.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development efforts to drive agency growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty license required; Life & Health license preferred (or must be obtained within 12 months).
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- 1β5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with prior account management/Customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance agency management systems.
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence in service and operations.
