About this opportunity
We are growing and currently looking to add Fleet Managers to our night operations team! The Fleet Manager role is an opportunity to gain valuable operational experience. Day to day, you will work closely with Planners, Account Managers, Operations Managers, etc.. within Operations and will play a key role in the operational growth of PAM. As a Fleet Manager you will be responsible for managing a fleet of drivers daily.
Pay and Schedule
The pay range is $50,000 - $60,000 dependent on experience. This position is Sunday - Wednesday 6pm-6am, with alternating Wednesdays.
How will you contribute to the success of the team?
- Effectively communicating with your drivers
- Effectively communicating issues/concerns to the Account Management team.
- Managing Truck Maintenance schedule to ensure services are completed on time.
- Managing Driver drug tests/physicals
- Driving Safety within your fleet.
- Pushing to maximize utilization of the trucks on your fleet to ensure that your Drivers are taken care of and bringing home the paychecks that they need.
